Bagi saya walimah is about to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends. And if ada intention memang nak jemput orang to celebrate with us, we should consider them and not syok sendiri.
Be thoughtful on how they can come, is the place accessible. Kalau boleh arrange parking if your place not enough. RELA people is quite functional at this time.
Make sure your buffet table setting is flowing. Don't let people long que just to get their food. Very frustrating. Because they come with empty stomach. Kalau perut berkeroncong sangat tak best.
The doorgift should be personalised. Bagi sendiri (tak kisah la oleh siapa) better dari letak jer atas meja especially kalau majlis malam. It shows how much you appreciate them to come.
So in the end a best walimah is about the service you provide supaya tetamu enjoy instead baju mahal, makeup mahal tapi servis buruk dan dikutuk after the ceremony.
Just my opinion. Saya harap b2b punya majlis direstui oleh tetamu-tetamu dan berjalan lancar.Amin.
